We believe a community bank’s size is a competitive advantage—not a limitation. We help community banks leverage that advantage through expert, on-demand consulting tailored to their unique needs. Our subject-matter specialists provide flexible support in underwriting, cash flow analysis, policy development, product line development, loan portfolio review, CECL/ACL analysis and project management—without the cost of full-time staff. Our mission is to deliver practical guidance and long-term results that strengthen banks, support small businesses and borrowers, and ensure Main Street banking continues to thrive.
Founder Traci Flynn has spent 26 years in the banking and financial industry, working at a national bank, a mortgage company, and a community bank. Her 20-year tenure at Holladay Bank & Trust—a single-branch bank in Utah that was later acquired and now operates as Redemption Bank—shaped her passion and purpose for community banking. As part of the executive management team at the only female-run bank in Utah, she fostered relationships, developed programs, and led the bank through the 2008 recession and recovery, the COVID era, and beyond. Traci and her husband also owned a successful small business for 12 years, giving her a unique understanding of both bankers and the small businesses they serve. This combination of experience, perspective, and purpose inspired her to establish Flynn Consulting to strengthen and grow small banks and small businesses—the backbone of Main Street America.
